TRUST ADMINISTRATION
Provide counsel to Trustees administering a trust. This may include fulfilling legal notice obligations, transferring real property and financial accounts, coordinating the inventory and appraisal of all trust assets, filing Heggstad petitions to avoid probate, coordinating with tax and investment experts, and assisting with the final distribution of trust funds.
PROBATE
Represent the Administrator or Executor of the estate in court proceedings. Prepare and file court petitions, appear on behalf of client, and fulfill legal notice obligations. Oversee the transfer of real property and financial accounts, coordinate the inventory and appraisal of estate assets for the probate referee, coordinate with experts on tax obligations and accounting, and assist with final distribution of the estate.
