The town of Moraga, tucked away in the hills south of Lafayette and Orinda, offers residents a true Mayberry feel where neighbors greet each other by name and kids safely ride bikes to town.
The smallest town in Lamorinda, Moraga has approximately 16,500 residents. The Moraga School District is comprised of three elementary schools (Donald Rheem, Los Perales, Camino Pablo) and Joaquin Moraga Intermediate School. Most of the students attend Campolindo High School, also in Moraga. There are also two private elementary and one private high school. Moraga is also home to St. Mary’s College.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Moraga has a lot to offer. The Moraga Commons is a large community park that has play areas for children, Frisbee golf, bocce, volleyball and an outdoor stage that hosts events such as the popular summer concert series. There are also miles of hiking and biking trails throughout Moraga too.
